Wow!! I'm impressed. Typical toddler-speak always impresses me, though. :)

He's adorable, both in appearance and conversation. :)

Heh. I love the total non-sequiturs. Ours is a master of those, too.

Nice new banner, btw!

I love the new banner.

Many of those conversations could have been had at our house.

This evening, as I was putting Mme L to bed I said, "Okay, one more song and then I'm going to go, okay?" And she said, "And then I'm going to ask you again to stay a little while."

Alright. So long as we all know the routine.

Great. And I like it that your brain is not leaking out of your ears because of this and so you remembered it and wrote it down. The weird thing is that my son still does this. With an addition of, "And then I want to become a dragon and I'll have a submarine, and you and daddy will have to by me ..." Whatever. I really try to be polite and listen but it is hard sometimes.

(He just sits besides me talking about what he will put in the trunk of his racing car once we have bought it for him. Which will fly over the fence, ahem.)

Sounds like what goes on at my house!

How about "You finished?" (in regards to eating)

"you finished now?"

And so on.

Ha ha!
